I had been hearing a lot about Falcon Next before our trip – rum punch, special Falcon sauce, and fresh lobster! So after a morning at Shoal Bay East, we drove the short distance to Island Harbor to check it out.
It’s a great setting, with picnic tables at the water’s edge. Masses of colorful fishing boats bob in the water just offshore.
D ordered chicken wings, which arrived in a very generous portion (six “wings” turned out to be twelve pieces) and I went with the grilled lobster. A batch of lobsters were delivered to the kitchen just minutes after I ordered – perfect timing!
Definitely the best lobster I’ve had on Anguilla – or possibly anywhere – with sweet and wonderfully tender meat (the fries were really good too). We both added plenty of the Falcon sauce, which has just a touch of curry and deserves the raves it’s received in other reviews.

I bet Falcon Nest would be a great choice for a casual dinner, but I wouldn’t want to miss the daytime view. It’s also fun to read the names of the boats, from the aptly-named “Mr Fisher” to the more mysterious “Robelto”.
I’m already looking forward to another lobster lunch, on our next visit!
